By equipping policymakers, researchers, and citizens with lessons from our past and trends of our present, the Forest Foundation aims to spur action for the protection and conservation of our forests.

HOW WE DESIGNED IT
We created the book cover in such a way that, when held, tree rings sprout from the reader’s thumb—emphasizing humankind’s imprint on the natural world. Each chapter opens with an illustrated piece of the forest management puzzle: indigenous peoples, scientists, forest guards, regular citizens, and endemic flora and fauna. We also designed a website where its e-book is free to download. In the month of its launch, it was downloaded almost 500 times.
